For this project, I was tasked with researching tea packaging and developing a comprehensive creative brief. The assignment required selecting a target audience, writing copy, designing a tea box and logotype, assembling the final packaging, and capturing product photography to showcase the completed design. The goal was to create a cohesive and visually engaging tea brand concept.
Audience:
People aged 16-30 who are interested in board games and fantasy. Upper-middle income range, and willing to spend money on higher quality products.
Project Goal: Tamra tea is a well-established tea brand hoping to branch out and attract a younger audience. They have created some unique flavors to appeal to this audience, and need new packaging and a new visual identity to appeal to the niche.
Deliverables:
Logotype and Packaging for two new tea flavors

Approach
To begin, I conducted research and crafted a detailed creative brief to define the target audience and direction for the tea brand. From there, I focused on designing a unique and scalable logotype, and custom patterns to reflect the brand’s fantastical theme. Through multiple prototypes, I created a custom box template and created three different visual directions the box could take. After settling on a direction, the box and tea envelopes went through numerous iterations of designs and printing tests, where I refined the visuals, balancing aesthetics with practicality. Finally, I assembled the finished packaging and conducted product photography to showcase the design in a professional, engaging way.
